I've been to Notre Dame and it really leaves a mark after you see it. I didn't feel this way after 9/11, mainly because I never saw the towers. All of these things have far more impact when you go out and see them, which is why you should get out and see as much of Europe as you can, while you still can. It's only going to get worse.

WHO KNEW that an 800 year old architectual masterpiece could be tricky to renovate. reaching levels of untold retardation
