I can't help but think if it sinking is too fast or not fast enough. If we don't correct this, it will be the end of the human species. It's going to fracture, with one side evolving and the other regressing.

for anyone who's interested in seeing the before and after. The new owner had the extra skin removed so he looks like a fairly normal dog now aside from some puckering where they had to pull the skin together. He's a happy puppers now.

The new owner had a vet take off the excess skin after helping him lose about 55 pounds. He looked so much happier being able to run around again.
