And yet no call for an investigation into what is an obvious case of politically influenced corruption (IOW, all those things they said she did that were irregular and ethically very bad, she had to have a motivation for doing it - and what about the court judge involved in this sealing?)
And will remark that would bet a $1000 that when they say "victims of hate crimes" - they weren't talking about the actual victims of Smollett's hoax, i.e., the Trump MAGA base that he was targeting with his particular hate crime.
They had in mind the traditional Leftist image of minorities as hate crime victims - that Smollett's hoax will tend to have such cases in the future taken less seriously. They could care less about the current victims of this very obvious hate crime.

That is quite the statement by IPBA. Big deal! All it does is express their displeasure over the way this was handled. If they wanted to add any meat to the bones, they would have included actions that could be, and would be, taken on their part to counter this gross manifestation of injustice!

"We strongly encourage our members and the public to review the National District Attorneys Associations statement on prosecutorial best practices in high profile cases."
THAT'S ALL YOU WANT, Lee Roupas? FUCKING COWARDS... THEY ARE IN ON IT AS MUCH AS ANYONE ELSE.
