And all of that that makes perfect sense from an evolutionary perspective. Women need to stick with the herd to survive, bear children, and raise them. They acquiesce to the consensus, because it raises the chance of survival for them and their offspring, and therefore the chance of passing on their own DNA. It's much more important for women to have babies and raise them successfully than to be bold, enterprising, and creative.

On the other hand men can take the greater risks necessary to pursue success. Even if we have to risk our own safety in the process, as long as we pass on our DNA before we do, the greater good of ensuring the species' survival is still accomplished.

Nature has made us all exactly as we need to be in order to ensure the species survives. The biggest mistakes we've made have been denying the gender roles that are created for us, not by culture but by our own biology.
