Hey lads. I'm depressed, I'm anxious. I want to get better but I don't have a clear path yet (I'm a bit of an aspie so I get paralysed by all the info out there). Apparently high fat/high protein breakfasts can help. Reading the thread, seems a lot of you lads eat keto. Does it really make the difference?
I've started exercising but haven't in a few days due to life getting me down. Calisthenics because I'm poor. Do own a pull up bar though.
I just feel hopeless, and angry at points. End up hurting myself. I also feel lost. Can't find my Bible which is annoying. Give me advice lads. You're my friends, and likely want the best for me as a fellow white man.
Fellow huwhite man here.
It's a phase. If you can't get over all of it at once, forgive yourself for getting that way. No matter whose fault that really is. You can, however, push the past aside and feel happiness in the present from walking your own path.
Prayers and blessing from another time in space.
P.S. Eggs are healthy as fuck. Whole grains too and avoid any kind of pill out there unless you don't like the taste of fishliver oil being chugged down your throat.
Lemons. Grow your own vegetables. Strive for independence brah. All of us want that and we're getting there one step at the time.
Every breath you take is a prayer, and every moment spent in silence is the best prayer there is. Also drinking water maybe is the most intense meditation there is, as you can literally turn your good intentions crystal-clear in a moments notice from that.
I'm depressed
Make sure that you're getting enough tryptophan. It's an amino acid that you're body uses to make serotonin. Eating organic free range eggs is the best way to get it. It can also be taken as a supplement.
seems a lot of you lads eat keto
Keto can help with certain disorders as an alternative to medication. It's very effective at treating things like brain fog, depression, epilepsy and headaches. There's even new research indicating that it can be used in dementia and alzheimer's. It will also reverse type 2 diabetes in months. The negative is that keto is a strict diet that requires you to watch your macros and it isn't cheap either. If there's no medical reason for you to need to be in a constant state of ketosis, eat a paleo diet. This is similar to keto because it cuts out all grains and processed foods but it doesn't place any restriction on macro nutrients.
Calisthenics because I'm poor
Look in second ads for an adjustable dumbbell set. You can buy more weight plates as you progress.
Can’t beat eggs and bacon for breakfast, if you’re short on time make hard boiled eggs ahead of time so they’re ready to go and you always have a healthy choice. Bacon can be spendy if you’re a poorfag though, scrambled eggs with cheese is still good just make sure you’re getting in some meat.
Diet plays a role, exercise is good too, if you’re feeling depressed and don’t want to work out then go take a walk instead, nature helps. Some nature photography might be a good stress reducer. Maybe find a local hiking group you can join.
Also consider that the anxiety and depression may stick around for a while, I only say this because once you accept that as a possibility you can move forward. If you knew you had to live with a shitty roommate for a year it’s better to just accept it and make the best of it instead of spending energy on the fact that there’s a shitty roommate.
hurting myself
Not sure if you mean acutely or more generally. If you are physically harming yourself try to replace that habit with something else, if it’s some kind of self punishment maybe force yourself to do strenuous exercise or cold exposure (cold showers) instead.
If you have decent family, try to reconnect with them
bible
You don’t need it. The white man doesn’t need a semetic desert book to guide him
The reason I'm trying to find the Bible is it's the basis for Western ethucs, and Peterson mentions it a lot in 12 Rules. Not to say I'm a JBP cocksucker but I'd like to reread with his views in mind, to see if anything leaps out at me. I just want guidance to keep me firm. My relationship's in hell rn. We're talking about it later but I'm v drunk.
Jared Diamond implies that there are no significant genetic differences between ethnoregional groups that account for their different outcomes. As if subsaharan blacks could have been moved to Austria and they would have been the ones dominating Europe in the early 40s. Muh environmental factors! It's bluepilled, and the anthropology equivalent of what Fight Club is to literature.
Both characters are infinitely more alpha than Patrick Bateman. You wouldn't catch either of them being "on the verge of tears" because they might not get a good table at some trendy restaurant, or tailoring their thoughts and opinions to whatever would garner them the most social points.

That wasn't what I got from the book. I took it as more of an explanation of how different ethnicities evolved based on their environments which was quite interesting. Although he does seem to have some kind of agenda to push up third worlders with his thought experiments and was especially biased in that regard. Such as his treatment of domesticed animals. He never made thought experiments as to what might have happened if Euroasians only had the animals native to Africa. Who knows, white men could well have domesticated elephants if that's all they had. I honestly don't regret reading the book although I bought it secondhand so nothing went into the pocket of a kike.
Anyone got something positive to say about Dave Ramsey? I just found his stuff on jewtube, and while I am not in debt some of his advice seems quite sound and reasonable.
some key points I found helpful so far
share finances with your wife
I plan to do this
build up a 4-6 month emergency fund
save towards pension
don't have credit cards
never buy a car on credit
He seems very anti the jew without ever naming them outright so he is probably more redpilled than he can disclose or is just some lucky blue pilled boomer who got successful with his books
He does seem very pro mutual funds though which is my only disagreement so far.
I think someone from /sig/ mentioned him before, possibly ITT but I stumbled across his videos randomly but that post from anon struck me.
Don't watch degenerate (((media))) and read some good books.
I'd refine this a little. Don't watch any "moving picture" media for a while and read books instead. Your brain is a passive potato when watching movies but it creates it's own, unique mental imagery on the fly when you read.
With time, this will greatly improve imagination and mental well-being.
I don't have any solid white pills but if it will make you feel better, remember that the white man can never truly be defeated. The only thing that can defeat a white man is another white man.
The Roman Empire was defeated by other Europeans so was the French empire. And who defeated the germans in both world wars? That's right, other Europeans. History shows that the only people who can bring down a strong European nation is an even stronger European nation.
The further we're pushed the harder we get until finally we snap, and when the white snaps everyone who oppose them will be begging for mercy. But this time there will be none and they know that, that's why they are trying so hard to keep us down, but the don't realize that trying to keep us down only fuels the fire and hardens the steel.
All this anti-white hatred is just because of this, they're scared of the white man. They know we're comming for them
Tips on getting good at something quickly/effectively, besides the obvious "practice more".
Realised I suck at all my hobbies. Thought I was a good guitarist until I heard my new flatmate play, and he's been playing for less time than me. Thought I was a good climber until I went to a competition and got humiliated.
Have always been kind of relaxed with my hobbies and saw them as leisure, never got too serious about them. Now I'm sick of being embarassed and being worse than people, I want to be the best in the room at what I do. Any tips on achieving this?
You need to find the most efficient means of practicing. Usually this involves focusing on the fundamentals, with an eye towards constant progression. For example with language learning you have to grind vocab with flash cards using an efficient SRS system. Each flash card has to have as much context as possible (image, sentence, audio). Then you have to be advancing in difficulty at a smooth pace so that you're dealing with mostly comprehensible input, but just difficult enough for a slight mental struggle. Where you still need to look up words in a dictionary fairly often, but not so often that it totally breaks the flow of enjoying the content.
For guitar it would probably look like a good routine of working the scales, chord progressions, all against a metronome to build rhythm from the beginning. The bulk of your time should be spent on these sorts of exercises rather than just playing off of a songbook. Systematically cover each of the main major and minor scales. If things start to get easy, move on. Then periodically come back to the basics so you can reinforce them. You want to be aiming for as close to a 1:1 correspondence between effort and results as possible to avoid long plateaus. When you are close to a 1:1 correspondence then you can increase the practice time and make massive progress quickly. Make sure that your guitar is always in tune and at hand, sitting on a stand next to the amp, with picks at the ready and strap adjusted or next to a good seat where you're comfortable playing. If an obstacle is the amp being to loud for neighbors or something, get a pair of headphones that plug into a portable amp. All of this should be at the ready so you can pick it up at a moment's notice and practice in short bursts, without it being a chore to set up. Similar to how if you have a pullup bar in the threshold on the way to the bathroom you can easily crank of tens of pullups every day with little effort to increase volume just as a habit. You should also use an electric guitar rather than an acoustic for your main practice, since it will be easier on your fingers which means will translate to the ability to practice for longer and more frequent sessions. At the same time you must understand that plateaus are inevitable, while learning to get yourself out of them ASAP without dwelling on frustration. You also want to be reading about music theory so you can tie the practical into the real and make periodic leaps and bounds in your understanding. Then you can translate that knowledge into the ability to jam. When you can, get with better players so that you're absorbing their knowledge. Ideally you'd have a sort of mentor. If you can join a band. If you are the best member of the band, switch bands to where you're no longer the best, and ride that pattern of switching until you're happy with your skill level. This is similar to how a boxer or MMA fighter would want to switch camps if they are stagnating either because the level of the gym is too low for them to make progress, or they just need to be exposed to new coaching methods, technique pool, and sparring partners. Don't cheap out on things that will facilitate your progression. If better strings will be easier on your fingers, buy them. If you are stuck on music theory, buy several of the best books so you have multiple sources to reference in case one of them doesn't click, and to cover knowledge gaps. Don't be afraid to alternate between skimming reference materials and doing deep dives. You don't always have to read the entire book from cover to cover, often it's best to skim the whole book quickly after looking at the ToC then zoom in on a chapter or two that are most relevant to your current sticking points.

Also, tips for forcing yourself to study? I have an exam in 3 weeks that I'm at 0% prepared for. Keep procrastinating. What do?
[–] 18121543? ago
I finish my degree this year and I have never been able to stop my procrastination. As long as it doesn’t effect the quality of the outcome don’t worry too much.
If you have other non-school things to work on then give yourself a choice, you have to either study or work on the other thing. Could be exercise, cleaning, art, reading. If you’re like me you will do anything to avoid the studying, so this way at least you force yourself to get other things done. Just don’t allow yourself to procrastinate with useless bullshit
When it really comes down to the wire I find the best method is to set a timer for 1 hour of work time, then I get a 15 min break, and repeat

I have found that the mind works like a muscle. Heightened periods of FOCUS and ATTENTION is like when we strain the muscle. Nobody can do "heavy lifting" overnight. As with what >>13158753 says, breaking things into small chunks make even large amounts of material manageable. You arent going to move a pallet of boxes by picking up the whole freakin pallet, would you? No, you have to have a plan to go about it, how to break it into manageable chunks. Most importantly, you have to give your mind time to relax, become unfocused and calm during the breaks. Make the most of your breaks. Find out what works best for your own personal memory retention.
As time goes on, you will find yourself better at planning, and better at focusing hard. Your memory will improve if you put in good effort towards absorption and recall. Work your way up.
Procrastination is a feedback loop. When presented with a hard task, I made things even harder by putting it off (therefore giving myself less time to complete the task). A few years back, I turned the nasty habit of procrastination on its head. In my senior year, I would plan my work as soon as something would be assigned. Have a framework up as soon as possible. The details will fill themselves in as long as you put in good honest efforts at regular intervals.
Good luck in finding out what works best for you.

Try to at least start on studying, open the book and read a few pages, or a chapter, whatever. Basically break it into chunks and make a habit of hacking at those chunks bit by bit. You'll drop the ball and have some gaps, that's OK. Even if you are only 50% prepared before you have to last minute cram the last 50%, that's better than cramming it all at the last minute.
