Fight Club
A book written by a homosexual that's dripping with homosexual innuendo on every page, and has somehow convinced impressionable young dudebros that it represents a paragon of masculinity.
American Psycho
Interesting as a critique of consumerism and corporate capitalism in modern society, but those points can be understood without meandering through 400 pages of outfit/hairstyle descriptions, snuff fantasy, and unrestrained degeneracy. Skip the book and watch the movie. One of the best aspects of reading is that you're putting smarter people's smart thoughts inside your dumb brain, but this book represents some of the worst thoughts you could possibly internalize.

I mean it's the pop american version of For My Legionaries, but entertaining instead.
Fight Club and American Psycho are two essential books any politically incorrect white male should read. The reason the movies are so good it's because the books are good too.

Patrick Bateman is a parody of an alpha. On the outside he has most of the right characteristics, but his inner life reveals that it's all fake. Aside from his feminine obsessiveness with his own appearance, the most obvious tell that he is not alpha is that he has no desire to lead or care for others beneath him. He only wants the social benefits that come with high status. Bateman has the mind of a gamma.

Then read Atlas Shrugged and you're complete.

Fight Club is a book about homo underground and subversion. I have no idea why any straight man would ever read it.
Haven't read AP or AS, but have not heard much praise for, from people whose opinion I value, either.
