I drink tea because coffee makes my hands shake and makes me nervous. Plus it makes less of a mess and I think it tastes better. You might want to try the same.

Absolutely! I have one sip and I'm fearing my life for the rest of the day.
Of course, water does that to me too, so....

Wait what? Are you nervous and paranoid by default?

I do in large quantities. I also get hungry, faint, and crave sugar ( maybe hypoglycemia?) so I limit my consumption. If you also get hungry and faint, you might want to look into that.

I am a heavy coffee drinker, here enjoying my third 12 oz cup as I type. That's about all I do on a typical day but I have had more on occasion.
I used to drink more until I discovered I was ADHD. The caffeine was me self-medicating. It helps me to calm down rather than making me anxious or jittery. Now that I take medicine for it I don't need as much. I just enjoy drinking it.

Only after the 12th cup in the same day...

After about 48 hours of not sleeping and drinking a lot of coffee, yes.
