I am a heavy coffee drinker, here enjoying my third 12 oz cup as I type. That's about all I do on a typical day but I have had more on occasion.
I used to drink more until I discovered I was ADHD. The caffeine was me self-medicating. It helps me to calm down rather than making me anxious or jittery. Now that I take medicine for it I don't need as much. I just enjoy drinking it.

When I drink a triple shot vanilla mocha I get anxious, and my heart starts beating really fast. My head starts to feel like it's floating a bit, sometimes I'll puke, other times I need to go number 2. Took me awhile to find my caffeine rhythm, which is one to two shots worth of coffee slowly sipped in an 8-9 hour time span. And no caffeine on the weekends to recover. Also, I've stopped drinking coffee (except for social events). I'm a green tea person now.

Thats super weird. I'm feeling this way right now after having coffee 3 times in the past 24 hours.

I drink tea because coffee makes my hands shake and makes me nervous. Plus it makes less of a mess and I think it tastes better. You might want to try the same.

I drink a lot... like... 15 cups a day. If my SO has 1/4 -- racing heart, etc.
