I mean, technically it is a drug, so maybe your body just reacts weird. Caffeine does cause anxiety type stuff long-term.

Haha no, just a Starbucks latte, and I've been having these daily for about 3 years now. After a coffee I can be like 10X more aggressive as a person, it just feels like a completely different person. On non-coffee days I'm quiet, meek, and preoccupied, and on-coffee days I'm super forward and much more assertive. Maybe everyone feels this way and its weird that I just noticed this so late?

Just a single cup (470 mL) right now, but I used to drink up to three of these a day until I stopped about six months ago. I noticed dramatic personality shifts each time I had a cup...how do you feel when you drink coffee?

Not to me, but this does happen to my cousin. I remember that this happened when her eating disorder got worse; not implying that correlation is causation, though. Also not implying that you have an eating disorder.

Do you remember what kind of eating disorder it was? I have a BMI of about 19, so if anything it might be some anorexia-like disorder?

It is/was anorexia nervosa. If you ever want to talk (about eating disorders and/or anything else), please feel free to PM me. Wait, you can PM on Voat already, right?
