You have no possible way of knowing whether your VPN provider is keeping logs no matter what they say. Go TOR -> VPN, not VPN -> TOR so your provider can't log your traffic metadata for feds, and for the love of god do not use the same VPN (or at least account) that you used to connect to TOR to connect from TOR to clearnet sites after you switch. If you want to obscure your TOR, then use the TOR bridges provided with the browser bundle.

Still better than being straight up seen by your local police. Even if foreign police will get the logs, it will take time and they wont ask all the time just for stupid internet comments.

there are ways, you just need to break the law repeatedly with your vpn XD. That said, this is the correct attitude.
