When I was a kid, my granddad gave me a big gold coin, it was probably 2 ounces, I thought it was cool but years later my ex pilfered it (during the time of becoming my -ex)
We have plenty of junk silver, ounce rounds and some 10 ounce bars. Silver is a much more useful tool than gold unless it is fractional rounds that are an exact known weight. We also have lots of copper rounds (coin type rounds - not ammo type rounds). Not much value now but useful in a zero currency economy (like the direction Canada is going)
