2019-03-13 | Former Trump adviser Flynn asks judge to delay sentencing: court filing | Reuters

'WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Lawyers for President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn asked a judge on Tuesday to delay his sentencing in a case that stemmed from an investigation of possible collusion between Trump’s campaign and Russia during the 2016 presidential election campaign. '

'The lawyers asked Judge Emmet Sullivan for a delay of 90 days while Flynn may need to provide more cooperation in the Russia probe being led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. '

'The request was made in a joint filing with Mueller, who said he took no position on Flynn’s request for a delay. '

I don't normally feel that intention should be part of a law but the legal system is being unreasonable. The golden standard for the law is supposed to be "What would the reasonable person do?" Expecting a perfect memory is certainly unreasonable. I have caught myself making misstatements. To me, that is what it is. A lie is intentional. A misstatement is when you forget. It is absurd. For example, "Did I email more than 5 people yesterday?" On first thought, I say "no." Upon further reflection, I say "yes." Did I lie the first time?

I actually believe it's more for optics at this point. There are still some stupid people that are being played by it. Another delay should allow enough time to herd em all up including the strays.

Patriot ,remember two FBI agents stated that Flynn never lied. this can only be for optics I suspect. and who are the witnesses, the ones who have indictments with their names on it, for treason and or Sedition. LOL, this case should be dismissed with prejudice. meaning they can never come n=back and charge him again later.

My understanding is that General Flynn is under some sort of "security clearance" requirement to "keep your secrets secret" unless compelled by the courts. I think this whole thing is a legal "work around" this requirement. Hopefully Judge Sullivan will "play along."

The title of this post does not appear accurate. Nowhere in the article does it state who actually requested the delay in the sentencing.

It only states that Flynn's lawyers requested to "report back" to the judge. In 90 days. That is not the same thing as claiming that Flynn asked the judge to grant the delay.

Edit-. Yes I am nit-picking for exact facts regarding the reporting of Reuters, and:.

It needs to be delayed until the SHTF so then it can be thrown out.........

Would delaying sentencing mean he is waiting for declas so the whole DS scheme is exposed? Case then is thrown out.
