You know, maybe, there is a small chance that the few times I tried lobster it was just prepared really bad.
For the acquired taste, i think that is something really dumb. "hey i am eating this, which i find taste absolutely awful. but i will keep eating it, like my peers expect me to, in the hopes that i will get used to the taste some day"
I had my first sip of beer when I was 12.. it was gross. Tried again at 16... and again around 18ish.. then again about a few month ago.. i'm in my 30s..
So when am i going to be an adult? When i bend to society and keep drinking it to "acquire" a taste for it? Kind of sounds like Stockholm syndrome :P

It's more like you don't like it and stop eating it. Then after a while, you keep seeing how people like it and think, maybe is not as bad as I remembered? Someone offers, you taste and well, it's not so bad. So So or may actually good. Some time pass again, you trying, you kind of like it and well in the end you end up wondering how is it that you didn't like this in the first place?
