I actually have a few!
Better off Ted. It was, unfortunately, canceled after only 2 seasons but it's one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. Bonus: It's all on Netflix right now.
The Critic. Another great, hidden comedy gem. The artwork has not aged well but the show remains very funny.
Equilibrium. Christian Bale did some pretty amazing things before Batman; this particular movie is set in a dystopian future where feelings are determined to be the root cause of all human suffering so citizens are forced to take a pill that suppresses them completely. Also on Netflix.

The critic is so great, shame it only got a few seasons. I find myself still quoting it to this day. "Are you prone to having blackouts?"

Never heard of this one, sounds right up my ally though, I'll have to check it out.

As upscale care in New York shifts from urban locales in the early 1900s, Knickerbocker Hospital remains in the city to serve a mostly poor, immigrant population. Undeterred by high mortality from sepsis in a pre-antibiotics era, chief surgeon John Thackery pushes medicine's boundaries, pioneering procedures despite his painful past and severe cocaine addiction. with Clive Owen

I love drive. I laugh every time I think about the lady that sued them because there wasn't enough driving in the movie.

Pushing Daisies is one of my favorite shows of all time. It was weird, which I would imagine is the reason it didn't last but it's definately worth a watch. Another was on HBO, The Comeback with Lisa Kudrow was incredible. It had it's first season a long time a go and a second one just recently. I recommend a binge if you have HBOGo.
I've said it before, but I'll never stop singing it's praises; Josie and the Pussycats is fantastic. I could watch it over and over and still find something new in it.

It's more unknown than overlooked. An 80's show called Sledge Hammer. It's ridiculous like a Naked Gun movie, but it's about a sexist cop who solves every problem with his gun.
Here's a random episode. They all make me laugh

Kung pow was one of those movies I just didn't get the first time I watched it, but gets progressively funnier with each watch.

Me too! I thought that movie was hilarious. It's kind of a movie that's so bad that it's good.
Also: CALL ME BETTY.
