Sense8! My brother and I binged over a day and a half and I'm currently biting my nails waiting to hear if they get a season 2. I really, REALLY enjoyed this show. Multi-cultural, multi-racial, gender and sexuality dynamics...I enjoyed watching a show that wasn't afraid to go there when it came to gay/lesbian/trans relationships. I'm straight, but I've got 2 moms, and it was nice to see representation that wasn't just quick pecks and jokes about fashion.

The Quiet Earth one of the more unusual post-apocalyptic movies. Nobody I ask has ever heard of it and once I force them to watch it they just say it was confusing.

Don't you hate it when Mandy Patinkin leaves a show? I stopped watching Criminal Minds because of that. Love that dudes acting.

Windy City Heat. It aired once on Comedy Central back in 2003 and went to DVD a few years later. It's a prank on a guy named Perry Caravello where they make him believe he's the star of a movie called "Windy City Heat" but they are actually fucking with him the whole time.

Joe Vs. the Volcano. It has awesome symbolism, a great soundtrack, and gives a darn good message. A lot of reviews don't see it as anything beyond a somewhat decent cookie-cutter rom-com, but it's a lot more than that. I never even thought it was a rom-com until I read reviews of it years later.
