The Quiet Earth one of the more unusual post-apocalyptic movies. Nobody I ask has ever heard of it and once I force them to watch it they just say it was confusing.

I enjoyed Alpha House, a comedy staring John Goodman about 4 republican senators living together. I like that it didn't treat republicans as a punching bag, that's too easy to do. They did a good job finding comedy on that side of the aisle.

I actually have a few!
Better off Ted. It was, unfortunately, canceled after only 2 seasons but it's one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. Bonus: It's all on Netflix right now.
The Critic. Another great, hidden comedy gem. The artwork has not aged well but the show remains very funny.
Equilibrium. Christian Bale did some pretty amazing things before Batman; this particular movie is set in a dystopian future where feelings are determined to be the root cause of all human suffering so citizens are forced to take a pill that suppresses them completely. Also on Netflix.

The critic is so great, shame it only got a few seasons. I find myself still quoting it to this day. "Are you prone to having blackouts?"

Not gonna lie, the reality TV contest shows are my guilty pleasure. :-)

Thief - 1981, a Michael Mann masterpiece.

Watched it for the first time tonight despite the negative reviews. Great movie. Hits you right in the feels.
