Clone High. It was cancelled before the end of its first season because there was a bit of an outrcry because Ghandi was depicted, but it's this great show. The entire plot of the show is summed up in the opening theme song. It's humor and drama bits are well balanced. It was done by the same people who made Scrubs and, more recently, The Lego Movie. In fact, the quick Abraham Lincoln cameo was done by the same actor who voiced Lincoln on this show.
I recommend it highly.

Considering I've been introducing my roommate to it all week, I'd have to say Young Justice.
There are really too many reasons it is underrated, from the writing, to the art style, to the voice acting and attention to detail. It's in my top 5 DC series ever made.

My favourite is a movie called Mirrormask. It's visually abstract with a dream-like quality to it (in fact, the main character alludes to it being "her dream" several times). Aside from that, it was written by Neil Gaiman, which should say something about it. It can seem a little slow to start, but with lines like "We'll do what rich people do, bathe-in fish!", it's worth it to give the movie a shot.

The Imposter is pretty unknown if you don't watch many documentaries. I'm an absolute nut for 'em (though you don't need to be to like it) and that is definitely one of my all time favourites. It's also got some great cinematics. Just check out the trailer.
I rarely hear people talk about Hard Candy. Kind of a chilling, everyone is a shitty person, type of suspense movie.
The 1997 film version of Lolita. I thought Jeremy Irons portrayal of Humbert Humbert was phenomenal.

Sense8! My brother and I binged over a day and a half and I'm currently biting my nails waiting to hear if they get a season 2. I really, REALLY enjoyed this show. Multi-cultural, multi-racial, gender and sexuality dynamics...I enjoyed watching a show that wasn't afraid to go there when it came to gay/lesbian/trans relationships. I'm straight, but I've got 2 moms, and it was nice to see representation that wasn't just quick pecks and jokes about fashion.

Chappie, it is a heart warming, action packed, cool movie.
Dredd 3D, awesome visual effects and action packed.
Max Payne, I loved the action and visual effects, the story was kinda close to the game.
Watchmen, awesome story, visual effects and great ending.

The Quiet Earth one of the more unusual post-apocalyptic movies. Nobody I ask has ever heard of it and once I force them to watch it they just say it was confusing.

Stella was a great TV show. It's by the guys that did Wet Hot American Summer aka Stella. They were also apart of The State. It's just a funny show that never pretends to be grounded by reality.
