2019-03-09 | Officials revoke license from ‘bikini barista’ coffee shop
'The coffee shop, which has multiple locations in the Bay Area, originally secured its American Canyon location in December, SF Gate reported. '
'An unconventional coffee shop in California is finding itself at the center of controversy — yet again — as a result of its servers’ skimpy styles. '
'At a meeting on Tuesday, city council members in American Canyon voted unanimously to revoke a license granted to Bottoms Up Espresso, after critics argued that the “bikini barista” coffee shop was operating more like an adult business than a café. '
'Nate Wilson co-founded the first Bottoms Up Espresso location in Modesto, Calif., in 2011. '
'Chico Mayor Sean Morgan had also called Bottoms Up’s Chico location “unfortunate,” but ultimately said the business was not violating city code. '

It’s only ever hams that complain. Hams and bible thumpers who can’t handle seeing more than an ankle

As usual, it's not enough that they just don't eat at these places. It's important that the shop be closed, the business bankrupted, and the owner's life destroyed. The concept of personal responsibility is completely lost on these people. The idea that others have different viewpoints might as well be an alien language.

I'm assuming none of those girls are forced to work there so what's so bad about girls doing what they want to do? Oh right they're hotter than everyone else and that's worse than knowingly giving aids to someone

If jusy wearing a costume can turn you into an adult-entertainment venue, how do swimming pools employ life guards? I know it's ad absurdum to make such a comparison, but it is exactly what would happen if they contested the license being revoked.
And of course its hams, and ugly people, complaining about this place being open. Regular people understand that if you don't like a company, you just do not go there, and let the market speak for itself.

Heh, we used to have something similar in Ft. Lauderdale back in the 90s; hot chicks in bikinis selling hot dogs from little stands. Several ladies set up stands around the city. It took about six years, but the fat assholes and prudes finally managed to put them out of business, too.
