Yes, in another post I commented that the vandalism might be intentionally poor to avoid giving satisfaction to the framed group. So here is a similarly distorted symbol that demostrates the principle is applicable for any symbol. And it hits on some interesting conflict. Like how does a group police quality representation? Would twotter ban someone for using this as a profile picture? What if they state they are Jewish?
