I suspect every institution that requires a label. We must have a relation not a religion.
Here is a bit of theological pondering. If the second coming of Christ won't / can't occur until every person on earth hears 'the good news' (not Q Anon type good news) but (every knee shall bow and every tongue confess....") and a good portion of the world's proselytizing is by the catholic church, has the world actually heard God's word or the catholic churches word?
"I suspect every institution that requires a label."
I am with you on that. I'm a non-denominational Christian. Meaning, I only recognize myself as a servant of Christ. I scoff at the church leaders who have to be recognized with a title (ie, pastor, elder, bishop, pope). A title, given by man, that they had to pay money for. I think they were called pharisees in biblical times. These times are truly strange.
I have pondered your second question. There are many who have received the good news but refuse to accept it all as Truth. We are now in the "age of information" , whereas a lot of the worlds population has heard of Jesus Christ except for a few indigenous tribes in remote parts of the world. Satan has been devious enough to spread the good news through false religions, all the while deceiving believers by thinking they have to attach themselves to a specific religion; thus dividing the people. Satan's greatest tactic is divide and conquer. I believe, in the not too distant future, the second coming of Jesus Christ will be here. I just don't know if it will be in my lifetime (40 yrs old). Don't forget, we will see the rise of the antichrist before we see the second coming. I know it is my duty as a servant of Christ to spread His word as much as possible. God bless, brother.
