If the Jews build a third temple in Israel, it is on like Donkey kong.
If Israel makes peace with the Arabs, it will again be on and time to start the clock.
I can tell you one thing the angels do not know exactly how all this plays out.
If Christians actually start believing and doing Jesus one commandment, Satan will pull out the stops.
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
For the Christian: do you believe this is the Final act before believers reign with God on Earth for 1000 years or is this merely another chapter?
As a believer, I try to keep an open mind but I have no compelling reason to think that story is literally true.
I appreciate that the New Testament was INSPIRED by the word of God but is also subject to the full spectrum of human error in it's initial record, compilation, translation and interpretation. The authors of the New Testament tried to record stories about what people witnessed and tried to understand the context, but it's not necessarily accurate.
I focus more on simply trying to have a relationship with Jesus and relying on many of the time-tested truths of the bible - especially relating to traditional Christian family values.
Anti-Christ means being opposed to Christ. Muslims deny that Jesus is the Son of God but admit that He is the Messiah (Issa Messi) and they await the Mahdi who will prepare the way for the return of Jesus. Buddhism and Hinduism do not address the subject directly. Two groups deny Christ virulently - one group are atheists, the other group violently rules the Holy Land.

The Jesus Muslims preach about is an anti-Christ Jesus, they preach and believe in a false Gospel.
The false gospel of Muslim's comes from the spirit of the anti-Christ.
They preach that Jesus did not die for our sins, Just like the Jews. Both faiths actually have the rejection of the Gospel of Christ as a matter of faith. It would be better for them just to ignore Jesus and make no deceleration one way or the other.
This all being said, no man is my enemy, and Christians and everyone are called to love others, Christians are called by Jesus to be willing to die for their brothers and sisters in Christ. They are supposed to live in the Spirit of Christ, and be of one blood and one heart that is found in Jesus who died for us all way we were yet still dead in our sin. The power we have as Christians is through the love of ALL our Brothers and sisters in Christ.
Throwing stones and convicting others unto death does not make us Holy, and there is only One Person qualified to make such judgement.

Good discussion topic. I just started reading the Bible for the first time so can't answer, but damn while reading it do I ever think it was written for TODAY. It's incredible when you have eyes to see.

Well, human nature hasn't changed in thousands of years. "As in the days of Noah" "Like a dog returns to it's own vomit" The Bible will always be relevant. And, congratulations on starting the journey, anon!

If you read the Gospel of John and 1 and 2 John and just stopped there and you took everything that it says to heart, you would become the foremost expert of on the Bible.
