Dude, don't me started. I live around a ton of people like that. As if we're all just somehow so magically better because we're not American. And it's so fucking dumb. So fucking dumb. And that attitude comes from people who've accomplished shit all in their life too. Like they are such an insignificant waste of space that they have to try to validate their existence by pretending they're better people simple because they're Canadian.
It's fucking, obnoxious.
So I feel you man. And on behalf of Canada, I'm sorry you had to deal with the fucktards we have here. Fuck those wannabe elitist pricks. Any real Canadian worth their shit, upon learning someone is American, is gonna invite them out to a beer hall to share some of our delicious Canadian beer, and party it the fuck up.

That sounds about right to me. If I want to explain this to other people I posit that perhaps their country is less important on a global scale than mine, and they're jealous, so they spend their whole life complaining about it, while I on the other hand limit myself to complaining about Justin Trudeau. Everyone here thinks Trudeau is great. He's YOUNG AND HANDSOME. Macron? HANDSOME. That means they're good leaders you know.
I'm on the other side of the planet somewhere in Asia. Local people here seem to have a similar inferiority complex.

That is a bang-on assessment of the attitude of many Canadians. The CBC promotes that attitude. It’s for losers.
