They do it if you exhibit behaviour similar to a suspended account from the same location I think. They did it to me but so far I'm still back on, has been two weeks+

I got a Twitter account in 2016, put a picture up, wrote something in the bio and followed then candidate Donald J. Trump - I was deleted immediately because they literally told me I violated the community standards. Couldn't log back on and the username is gone, too.

I got that when I tried to connect to various sites like google, Twitter, Facebook, etc. Why? I was using TOR. If they can't get an accurate "fingerprint" of your system so they can identify you, they'll captcha you to death. Remember, the CIA runs all these corporations and their purpose is to gather info about you and watch your activities so if you prevent them from doing that, then they don't like it very much.

Sorry to hear anon, I am following these six. I just got a 12 hour time out for using hate speech. #learntocode will trigger the big brother bot. I should have used a meme.

I was suspended for 6 months for a joke about Jack, Zuckerberg, Soros & some random farm animals. Was allowed back on last week. Have been temporarily locked out 4 times in 3 days, what for I don’t know.

As someone who creates twitter accounts for a living (SEO purposes) ... it's nothing special.

It's randomized ... sometimes they have you prove yourself before you do anything, sometimes after 50 follows, sometimes not at all. It depends on many things, including the traffic they receive from subnets close to your IP.

And it's not necessarily a conservative thing.

I keep wondering if Obama's transfer of DNS IP management to ICANN in 2016 is related, part of a larger strategy.
