Scott Adams is an acquired taste, but he has written some insightful things about climate hysteria:

  • My $1 Million Climate Model Bet Adams explains that the way climate "scientists" supposedly predict the future is by designing hundreds of different models producing hundreds of different predictions. Then wait a few years and see what happens with the climate, and then select the climate model which most closely matches the reality while pretending all of the other, incorrect models never existed. You would have the same luck throwing darts.

  • The Climate Science Debate Illusion Adams explains the bait-and-switch method used by climate alarmists who claim that because the Scientific METHOD is reliable, the MODELS built by scientists are reliable. But the two aren't the same thing. The Scientific Method is something that creates repeatable, observable results. Computer models built by scientists are nothing more than tools to help imagine a possible outcome because no one can create repeatable results with something as complex as climate. And that's the whole point--no one can create repeatable results.

  • When to Trust the Experts (Climate and Otherwise) Adams lists several great examples of where scientific consensus has changed, and "red flags you should look for in order to know how much credibility to assign to the experts."

  • How to Convince Skeptics that Climate Change is a Problem This headline sounds like Adams is arguing in favor of climate hysteria, but if you read through it, you will see that, in fact, he is saying that no reasonable, scientific person is going to believe you unless you cut out all the hysteria (And if you cut out all the hysteria, you really don't have anything to shriek about).
