Stopping to pray relieves my impatience with myself and others. Praying might not solve problems, but for me, it sure did prevent a few escalations. The one thing I know for positive: There is no situation my big mouth and bad attitude can't make worse.

I think it (your statement) does too. My personal bias read it the way I would react in that situation. Your post made me remember a church meeting about what makes people leave the church. I bluntly told them it was the holier than thou charade regular church goers display. The reactions were quite priceless. I found out the word heretic was being throwed around, but when I worked the definition into a bible study, 90% realized they might also be heretics. It was a real come to Jesus moment, but the elders went nuts later. We were invited to never return. Christians are just broken sinners too.
