My grandmother always used to wash her apples in the sink saying, 'you never know, some darkie could have picked these'

My wife's grandma was cute. Whenever she'd go to pick scratch tickets, she'd recite that old nursery rhyme, "Eenie meanie miney mo, catch a nigger by the toe..."

That's funny, the reason I always wash my fruit is when I was a little kid my great grandma told me "wash that, you don't know if a nigger took a shit and didn't wash his hands before picking that." It scared me so bad I still always wash everything.

People always dismiss old peoples' racist views by saying that they were brought up in less civilized times. In reality, those views are the result of years of experience and observation. Young people today haven't had enough negative real-world experiences with niggers to overcome the egalitarian nonsense they've learned from school and the media.

Exactly. My grandpa and his friends used to go "coon hunting" when they lived in Texas, meaning that they'd just go around in a pickup truck and beat up random beasts of the field. My grandma told me that story one time and the only negative reaction from her was her rolling her eyes, kinda like how a mother does when she says something like "boys will be boys".
If it was the Current Year+4 he'd be tried for a hate crime.
