What does it do that an older cartridge, say .257 Roberts, won't do? There is always a newer caliber to chase but I question the reasoning.

I like the 6.5 creedmoor. I think it could catch on if adopted by mil/le. Then since the ammo will be bought in bulk there will be a surp market and more manufacturers will make the ammo as well as the rifles themselves.

I also like Nutnfancy. Here's an upvoat.

What I would like to see is some testing on how it performs at 500-600yrds just basic gel tests
