There was something he said at the Congressional hearing that sealed it for me. It was along the lines of "No one is working harder to restore (or maybe it was protect?) the reputation of the Department than I am." That's very much paraphrased, but it was the way he said it that made me think he was working with the White Hats. Just a middle aged Mom who identifies as a middle aged mom's intuition.
Also when Jordan was questioning him about signing the last of the four FISAs to surveil members of the Trump campaign. Rosenstein replied, "I dispute your characterization of the FISA."
Yea, I think he was insinuating that what he saw and what was presented to the court were two different things. That narrative was around for awhile and lost traction/attention. There's too much chicanery to keep up with. That's the problem with people who are hardwired to default to all lies all of the time. You literally cannot keep up.
