This doesn't appear to save any space. The height & length of the handle are approximately the same, so you are not saving anything on the height of the gun. Plus, when the gun is "folded" it pulls out the bullet clip chewing up additional space that would have been stored within the top part of the gun.
So while it might look cool, it is functionally worse than having a one piece glock, and does not offer any advantage at all.

Mehhhhhh.
What's that useful for? It defeats the purpose of having it ready. The Glock dispensed with manually disengaged safeties to save half a second. This takes that back and a lot more time on top of it.

I'm not a fan of the Glock line, but this is nevertheless very cool.

Okay just to address a few of the things @clamhurt_legbeard and @facepaint bring up.
The grip is about square so no height gain there but the magazine is not the same length as the grip it sticks out about twice the length so there is a gain in height.
I can't argue that it adds time to need to unfold it.
Yes leave an opening between the magazine and the upper for something to get into and cause a jam.
One perk though is not needing a holster this can just be pocketed and go. plus the trigger folding up in this process means no worries about it catching going in or out like most pocket guns where you would want something that covers that.
The second perk is the print that it leaves when in the pocket it looks rectangular so even if it prints most will think it is a bulky cell phone not a gun, it won't even occur to most that they can see a second print of the cell phone or that the cell phone might be viable on your belt. The shape is wrong so printing is much less of an issue.
One last concern I have is the join/trigger guard is going to be what is transferring most of the force from the recoil with your hand holding the bottom in place I have to wonder about the long term durability of that if you practice with this gun like you should with your carry weapon.
Overall I agree it is mostly a neat novelty but there are some features that this offers that a standard gun doesn't

Outline is important, but you can make it square without cutting up the gun.

I agree, though that adds a holster and would be uncomfortable with the glock 19 made square stuck in your pocket. I think this uses the mag from the 19 or the 17, though I have seen some pics/videos that it fold just fine with the big 31 round mag (is that the right number i just know it is bigger).
This lets you pocket it and keep the larger capacity most of the pocket guns give up.
Personally if I just want something quick to tuck in my pocket I have a 5 shot .38 special revolver and a sticky holster that works great. Pocket or tuck into the belt of almost anything. otherwise I have a glock 19 that I carry when I want to take a little more time before going out to put on the holster. I would rather carry the larger gun the chance having to reload the revolver in that situation, but often I know I won't take the time to deal with the holster and belt for quick trips to the store so the revolver lets me have something all the time where I would otherwise not carry. Oddly I think the two guns cost about the same as buying this folding gun so it isn't even a case of cheaper to have one instead of two.
