John Pfaff on Twitter: "Oh. My. God.
An Apple IIe. Sat in my parents’ attic for years. Decades.
And it works.
Put in an old game disk. Asks if I want to restore a saved game.
And finds one!
It must be 30 years old.
I’m 10 years old again.… t.co/DimonZ4O2k"

Right, I think it's a stretch. The thread is odd. He talks of hackers and other odd references.
For example, the thoughts in this post are very disconnected:
"My dad typed up labels for all my floppies, which is really sweet to remember. He was so thorough that he even included... who hacked the games. (I’m the only person in my immediately family who went to law school.)"
What the heck????
That part sounds genuine. I started coding on an Apple IIe. It was my first computer, and I used to label my floppies the same way ... but I highly doubt any of those disks are still working. I'll never know ... sold all that stuff about 25 years ago and moved on to Spectrums, Amstrads, and Commodores. I might dig around in the attic to see if my Commodore and disks still work, haven't touched them in almost 30 years.
