Have you heard anything more about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez putting her boyfriend on payroll? I can't find anymore news stories about her putting her boyfriend on payroll. Seems like that would be a major scandal now that it's been proven true.

It's a DOT GOV account. All of those require you to be on the a government payroll to be issues any email with a .gov extension. The domain could be anything, but that extension requires you to be on the payroll for the government.
Note you can be on the payroll as an unpaid intern even. But you still show up on the payrolls. Everything is accounted for or rather supposed to be in regards to government accounts.
