I'm totally pro-GMO. Anti-GMOers are like anti-vaxxers to me so this is fine. Frankly I don't buy things that say non-gmo certified because I'm not okay with funding that anti-intellectual crap. Labeling GMOs is a waste of time.

The best part of the anti-gmo narrative is that bt endotoxin is bad (a common gmo complaint) however bt endotoxis with LIVE bacteria is commonly sprayed on ORGANIC crops.

Useless ignoran activism at its finest.

I'm more in favor of requiring organic crops to have listed what herbicides and pesticides were used. I bet a lot of people buying organic would be in for a shock if they found out. Hell, organic crops aren't even tested for organic pesticide levels. They just get a pass.

I'm pretty neutral, but it seems that the difference between anti-GMOers and anti-vaxxers is that one group just wants to know what's in the food they're buying, while the other is a threat to the rest of the population. I also think that if a state wants to require labeling they should be allowed to do so. I live in California where it seems like all products are labeled as "known to cause cancer and birth defects..." and it's not like these labels have toppled industries.

I'd only support it if the labels also have to include when the crop was created with mutagenesis and also anything that has sweet potatoes should indicate that they are transgenic as well (although they are a naturally occurring transgenic crop, it just shows that transgenesis is a natural method of crop evolution, just like selective breeding).

Also, organic foods would need to list the pesticides they are using. People might be shocked when they find Bt on their organic foods if they didn't realize it was an organic pesticide.

Actually, being completely honest, I'd prefer the herbicide and pesticide listings way more. I'm not really happy that organic foods aren't tested for organic pesticide levels.

Well that's great now that the EVIL GMO EMPIRE that consists of 30% of the gmo market is protected, GMO technology can now take over.

lol retards
