Dude, you live in a brainwashed society. You are surrounded by people who have been told that the world is obviously a certain way by television, movies, music, news, the education system, their government, their favorite celebrities, their bosses, and all their friends who grew up in the same brainwashing, ever since they were kids. Obviously if you just start telling random strangers, "the world isn't like that; it's actually completely different," they are going to see you as crazy. They've probably heard a thousand times that people with your views are morally corrupt, and that all good people are against you.
They're not assholes (well, probably some of them are, but this doesn't make them assholes). It was a totally reasonable response, even if you can fully explain the situation and tell them where to find all the evidence they need.
The red pill is bitter, while the lies of normal society are sweet. People need to take the medicine slowly, moving only one foot at a time out of their comfort zone. Baby steps, until they are ready to run.

Demoralized people will never see the truth no matter how many facts and redpills you give them. They won't realize something's up until there's a jackboot on their necks. They are already lost. Pray the spell is broken, but this level of indoctrination is irreversible unless there is some miracle from Jesus Christ himself.

I've tried red pilling many people here in LA, every time they hear a certain buzzword their NPC programming kicks in and they get hostile. Being out here has definitely enhanced my bullshit detector tho. I feel like I have x-ray vision its very useful haha. It's like someone else on this site said, 'If they walk funny, talk funny or look funny I don't trust em.' Now that doesn't mean hate, it just means I'm way more careful. There's plenty of based normal people out here too so its a toss up.

I got to visit NYC a month before 9/11. It was clean, restaurants were amazing, and people were kinda nice. Fuck the traffic there.

I have heard stories from primary sources of the underground ny which is also a city in and of itself.
