Grado SR-80i - I use these at my desk at home or plug them directly into my receiver. They're an open design and tend to sound more bright and have a nice sound stage. The only thing is until you break them in, they are uncomfortable to wear.
Koss DJ Pro - I got these based off the review over at the Head Fi forums because I wanted something that wouldn't leak sound and was cheap for work. They're okay. I think they are just too big and clunky and the sound is nothing spectacular.
Monoprice 8320/9927 - These are cheap earbuds but had really good reviews for their price so I decided to try them. I use them when I walking the dogs, or on my laptops or tablet. I purchased the comply foam tips with them as well as it was recommended. For their price, the sound is really good. I spent $8 on them (they're on sale for $5 now) and they perform well. Even though they are labeled as enhance bass, they don't sound it at all.

Sony MDR-V55 - They were cheap and work for what I need them to do. I use them with my PC.
Shure SE215 - Splurged because I wanted decent earbuds for listening to music/ASMR at night while I fall asleep or music while I'm "out & about".

would you recommend the shure ones? they seem to be championed in reviews and i'm looking to get some in-ears.

For earbuds they are great. Just remember they are earbuds and not expect mind shattering bass with no distortion at high volumes. The highs and mids are crisp and clear. The lows can get distorted at high levels or on certain songs (mainly rap from my experience). They are superb headphones though for in-ear headphones and are comfortable to use. Plus the SE215's only cost $100 which is cheap compared to some of the other in-ear headphones that probably don't offer much of an improvement.
