First console was a Sega Genesis that my dad got Mom when they were in college.

Grandpa got us a playstation at some point, and I got a gamecube sometime in elementary school.

Didn't get a new console after that until the PS3. At some point, it broke, but was under warranty, so we got a new one. The new one was a newer model (not sure if screwup or dad just paid extra for it), and wasn't backwards-compatible, so we got a PS2, a generation late.

Got a Wii, which was used mostly by my parents and siblings. Somewhere around this time I tried to buy Portal for PS3, but they only had it for PC at Gamestop. At this point I joined the PC master Race.

My little brother currently has a PS4. I've never touched the thing, partly because of my PC games, partly because I live a few hundred miles away from him.

In hindsight, the only change I would make is PS3->Xbox 360, and move the PS2 to when it was actually released.

I owned all these

  1. NES (Good choice)
  2. Genesis, SNES (If I had to pick one it would be SNES)
  3. PS1 (Probably should've gone with N64, oh well)
  4. PS2 (Later got and loved the Dreamcast)
  5. Xbox 360 (Never liked the PS3 really)

And that's all.. I moved over to PC now. I have purchased a Dreamcast, Wii, Gamecube in the past years, but they now collect dust (along with everything but my PS2 and 360 and PC).

So far, I've been owning

1> Atari 2600, Amstrad CPC 464 (some kind of shitty computer with ultra hard games on audio tapes... Shit like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZgufriFkri4 )

2> Genesis, Game Boy

3>Saturn and Playstation

4>PC

5>PS2, Xbox, GBA

6>3DS

I'm only playing PC and 3DS now, I might buy a PS4 for FFVII remake and GGXrd though.

So long, i regret not owning a neo geo, but hey, shit is expensive. too bad the Saturn crash big, there was a lot of fun game on it (Mr Bones, Dynamite Deka and Guardian heroes for exemple was pretty neat... And I like the version of Doom). Happy i didn't pay for this piece of shit 32X though, I wanted it for Doom, not knowing that it's one of the worst version ever.

Mostly, I've played so much games I regret nothing. I've played most games I've ever wished to play trough emulation or friends, so it's cool. And now, I have so much shit to play on steam... I'm really happy I have all this good time through gaming.

Maybe one regret : I never own Sonic 3, so I havenever beat Sonic3&Knucles without emulation. But hey, the 5th emerald was so hard to get, i might have fail anyway :)

Master System 2

Commodore 64

Genesis + Mega CD

Since then I've only been playing on PC

What would I do differently? What I feel I missed out on was JRPGs. Never played a single one of them. This may be the dumbest question ever, but do JRPGs play a bit like The Stick of Truth? Because if they do then I would welcome some suggestions.

Atari 2600

Sega Master System

Sega Genesis/32x adapter lol

PS1

PS2

PS3/Xbox 360

Built my own PC

PS4

My biggest regret would be not owning any Nintendo systems. I had an older brother who loved his Sega and didn't care for Nintendo so I only got to play those at my friends houses
