It's a lot longer than that. 4 years of college, 4 years of medical school, 1 year as an intern, then 4-20 years as a resident (depending on the field). So it's a minimum of 13 years just to become a family practitioner, yet these blobs think that reddit or their 5 minute google search is more accurate.

Exactly why health care professionals are getting more and more pissed off.

It's literally a doctor's job to be fat-phobic. Medical fat-phobia is like complaining that an exterminator is trying to eradicate all the bugs in your house. Fat people are people who will tell the exterminator they want a solution to the holes in the framework eaten by termites, but without addressing the termites.

Saying "fatphobic doctor" makes about as much sense as "cancer-phobic doctor" or "infection-phobic doctor"..their opposition is not based on unreason but fact! Obeasts try to bring medical professionals down to their unreasoning level by assuming the MDs' opposition to the patient's fat (which unlike cancer, etc, is self-inflicted) is based on irrational emotion rather than learning and logic.

Eradicate them? They give these people fertility treatments. I wish they would ban that. Nobody with even an overweight BMI should try to have kids.
