Actually, in appalachia, redneck came from the sashes that coal miners wore when they fought the military on Blair mountain when jewish coal mining company owners brought in the military to attack striking coal miners. There's some great books on Matewan. Excellent write- up, OP
You seem to believe that using javascript isn't appropriate in any circumstance. What I want right now is to have a remote control web app that works on my desktop and any phone browser with realtime data over websockets. The only way of doing with one language that is to use javascript. Therefore, I'm using javascript. Would it really be easier to write a desktop app in haskell, one in java or whatever the fuck for android, and another in objective-c for iOS? No; because it's simpler to use one language for this purpose and the user interface would barely benefit from it since it's just a collection of buttons and labels.
Yeah, and that's just some generic feature that took two minutes to add. Just like opening the chicken coop or turning on my lights. How would I do this otherwise if I had to compile and deploy it to several devices? Are my friends going to sideload an apk file every time they come over? What you're suggesting makes no sense in this case, which is why I brought it up. I'm suggesting using any given programming language for what they are best at, and there is no sensible alternative here. But you have an irrational hate for web applications and javascript, so you can't begin to consider using it.

it works so well because liberals always project. everything they complain about, they are guilty of. it's always true.
