Huh, I just assumed Retro was behind it from the start.

Nice, idk why they didn't just involve them in the first place.

I'm not upset at all. Any actions taken to make sure Metroid Prime 4 more closely resemble the original masterpieces is a good sign from me. I'm about 90% percent sure it'll be worth the extra wait. I'm really impressed by Nintendo. Sling-shoting from the Wii U era, yet not letting the new power get to their heads.

I wonder if they'll atick to the time period and Phazon, or time skip to something else.
I REALLY enjoyed Prime 3, so this had better be good.

Have you played Axiom Verge? It's the closest game to Metroid 3 I've ever played. And probably the only thing we'll see like it.
But if you look it up and like what you see don't get it just yet. It looks like it's going to be free on the Epic Games store in a few weeks.

Have you tried AM2R?

Fusion was alright and Zero Mission came close but all of the hand holding seriously irritated me. I want to get lost and have to figure out which way to go, not be told to "Press A to JUMP!" or "let me paint this giant X on the section you need to go to that's one room over." Metroid III told a story without having to break every ten minutes for another hour long cut-scene.

Hopefully they can bounce back from Federation Force; best of luck to them.
