Toilets are made out of porcelain because it's sanitary properties and price but it's actually quite brittle despite appearances. Porcelain toilets need to be used in "appropriate" sitting position (instead of say squatting on top of it) or they risk breaking even by normal people. I hope you enjoyed these shitty toilet facts.

It can handle loads up to 5,000 pounds (2267.9 kg) with no permanent damage. However the toilet seat isn't made for real people and is only rated at a measly 1,200 pounds. This is thin privilege and we need toilet seats that don't discriminate against the plus sized.

Most of the fatshion fatties weigh 250-450 lbs. I don't think 2000 pounds has ever been reached.

Traditional porcelain toilets can buckle under immense pressure, shattering and creating sharp and dangerous debris.
That sounds like a positive feature, not a drawback!

Darn, I was going to copy and paste the exact same thing. You gotta realize that landwhales probably don't go down slowly either. Hence they probably require much stronger toilets than their maximum weight

No word on price. I bet it costs something eye-watering. I replaced my toilet recently and it cost $80. Fats spend so much money on staying fat.

I was surprised. I resisted replacing the thing for a long time because I didn't want to spend $500 on a toilet when the only problem was stains. It helped that I did the labour myself, but yeah, I was shocked how cheap toilets can be. In saying that, there were a lot of toilets that were $3-500. I assume they are built to cope with a fat family rather than 1 person. You save a lot of money when you can always buy light duty for things.

Those will have to be replaced with sturdier toilets by the end of the century.

yo mamma still broke it!
But really, 2k lbs seems beyond the human limit... planning for the future maybe, when 2000 pounds is "dad bod"
[–] hate_the_avg 0 points 5 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago
Hmm. Maybe its for the landing. If you want to survive 600 lbs being dropped on the toilet, you gotta reinforce it to the point it can support 2000 lbs at rest.

When a land whale "sits" they literally hurl themselves backwards assuming the toilet will catch them. Even a svelte 500 lbs smallfat would generate about 2,000 lbs of force on impact. Yes I did the math.

Svelte.... Haha. Thanks
