I honestly find it sadder that this was the bike's whole life. I sympathise that it had to endure this, but on the other hand, its purpose in "life" is to support a heavy rider. It did that with pride and the reward will now be gathering dust with the other equipment from past fitness fads until it's thrown away by the new tenants after this guy has a heart attack.
