I think there are more people that can understand words sung then words written in cursive. Alternatively there are probably only more bad singers then cursive writers due to cursive being a skillset that isn't useful in current times, while singing (even badly) is something people do to relax.
It is also stored in one location that most will never visit. A picture of it is no better proof of what it says then a typed copy of it available online. Either way that you are going to read it will be the same, there are enough copies of the text out there to find inconsistencies in them as well as enough to ensure that you are getting the message correct by comparison. So have you read the constitution? the actual document or have you just looked at pictures and copies of the text?
