I was an impressionable 19 year old in 1994. I was invited by a friend to attend a "detax" seminar in Michigan. A man called Barrie Konicov came into town and told everyone how the US income tax was voluntary. For a fee, he and a friend of his, John Modena (also member of Michigan citizen militia) prepared paperwork for me to file saying that I choose not to volunteer. That promptly got me something like a $500 "frivolous argument penalty" and thus began a very long journey of living on the edges of society. I haven't paid income tax in over 25 years. The only conventional job I've ever held was as a paralegal, and that lasted about two years before the IRS sent a wage garnishment claim and I quit
I've been an expat for going on 15 years now, living in the Philippines. Everything I do is through my Filipina wife's name. Things are quite settled for me now, but in the past it was a tremendous struggle. I considered the US FUBAR until Trump announced his candidacy.
The prospect of moving back to the US and bringing my wife and 3 kids, not having to worry about the IRS and living a life there where I'm excited to pay taxes because the swamp has been drained is extremely exciting. Trump is truly the greatest POTUS ever.

It sounds like a dream but I hope it's a dream that will come true. America is getting robbed by federal taxes. The fact that I give over $1100 a month in taxes right out of my paycheck is just asinine. That's a whole nother rent payment. Payroll and property taxes are fucking bullshit. Why should a company have to pay taxes on its employees? Why should a man who owns property pay taxes on it? Our founders went to war for this kind of theft taxation. I pray to God President Trump can change our tax policy because it's bleeding our people and our businesses dry.

This is why nobody has been able to save for retirement plus the economy crashes and other bs taxes. If you're an average Joe and live on your own, it's difficult to save. I wouldn't have even minded so much if they did good with the money. However, we all know they used that money for bad things. If they can cap states at a percent, they are allowed to charge, this could be an "I can breathe now" moment. And the immigration has got to be fixed, because it's skyrocketing everything.
It's exactly why no one can save, I agree. It pushes people out of their homes, it makes it harder for companies to hire. Higher taxes causes infaltion. It causes more people to go homeless when the inflation soars out of control. Think renters and yearly price increases. Think losing your job but no saved money to pay home mortgage. Look at Portland and San Fran. High taxes have kept nations poor for centuries. The reason why the US was so much more prosperous than any other country is because Americans were able to save money from their capitalist labor. Now we can't. Now the middle class is on the ropes. The only way to save us is with this new tax policy or a 10-100K cash handout by age to people who paid taxes in the last 3 years. That's the only way. We cannot let this cabal steal from us anymore!

My guess is they will wait to discuss this until after the purge of congress(m/w) and senators. Slam dunk R pass. Trump hates FED and would sign. What president could ever top that in a history book. I mean honestly.
