Uhm, no... It was about taxation, tariffs, and the right to secede from the union. Slavery didn't come in until Lincoln wanted to piss off southern white gentry. Though it's true that he was generally opposed to the concept of slavery, in the same way that people today are opposed to animal abuse.

The thousands of black confederates who fought for the free states of America would take issue with your stance.

No it wasn't. It was about Lincoln's power to collect taxes and duties from the south. The war was fully Lincoln's choice and it was about collecting taxes. He said so in his first inaugural address. Secession did not necessarily require war.
