only one I can make out for sure is the top row second from the left is XVIII ABN Corps unit insignia - a miniature of the shoulder patch. the others are too blurry but look like a combination of LE and military

Can't believe you mention this- I've seen them in previous photos and vids of the President and at first thought they were Kureig K cups! I finally realized what they were tonight! ☺🤣🤣

I only knew what they were because my brother in law(Sea Bees) gave me one.

I think I recognize a couple of them, but my hubby was Active a lot longer than I was so I just sent the image to his phone. I’ll ask him to see what he recognizes & get back to you tomorrow. Please keep in mind that there are thousands of different coins in the Army, alone (we’re both Army Vets). Also, there are standard coins used/paid for by commander’s Office & some higher ranking soldiers pay about $2K just for the mold to create their own coin. This could be something significant, but there isn’t a catalogue with all of the coins listed - it’s knowledge thru experience with symbols, seeing other soldiers’ displays & receiving your own. We’ll do our best! WWG1WGA
Ok, trying to identify coins from a blurry photo is even more difficult than I expected, lol! I have 1 that’s certain, 2 Non-military fairly certain & several my hubby has declared to be infantry units. The Sheriff Star is just that. The tall blue (dragon) & white coin in the back is 18th Airborne Corps at Fort Bragg, NC. The one on the top row, left side is Boy Scouts Of Am. If you give me time to work on it, I’ll ask hubby for more help. Can’t see pic right now, but there is a large mostly blue coin kind of center right on 1st or 2nd row that looks like Air Force PJ’s (an airborne combat medic kind of unit). Have pic of 18th Airborne coins, but haven’t figured out how to post them here yet.

Could you give us a brief explanation of how those coins are used and exchanged?

I am not an expert on that..was just an observation. I am sure some on here will have answers shortly :)

We always have one on us. When we go drinking as a group, we have a coin challenge. You drop your coin. With that sound, everyone brings out their coin. Anyone who doesn't have their coin, has to buy everyone a drink. However, if everyone has their coin, the person who dropped it must buy everyone a drink.
