Such inane comments. Not understanding Aristotle at all. Philia (philios) is the main word for love of your neighbor in the relational way- ie. Philidelphia (City of Brotherly Love). Families love this way. People within a society, love this way. Americans, in accepting each other even though we might disagree, love this way. Aristotle is not writing about pedophilia. Geesh! By the way, I read Greek which is the language Aristotle is writing in.

Ya, I didn't like the philia mention either however I didn't want to change the wording, I typed it the way I found it. It struck me that the words of someone born 384 BC would be taken and used against modern day society.
