If it is one of the worst ones ( in your opinion) you are moymt offerering anything substantial supporting the correctness of any particular religion. Adherence to religion i shspect is very much linked to geographical location and luck. Tell me which religion is correct and why?

Because God gives us all that opportunity. Judaism is dead, Islam is a twisted hateful reinvention, Hinduism is changed with the whim of political leaders into a very odd religion. Shintoism is pokemon, and buddhism isn't even a religion. It's about worshipping yourself.

You would do well to read chapter 5 of the Great Divorce by CS Lewis. It's about an apostate who questions everything, even while in hell, he cannot fathom that hell is real. The whole chapter is a rebuttal of William Blake's 'the marriage of heaven and hell' which has ideas similar to what you're talking about
