That looks cool and it appears you have a planted tank. Is that moneywort photobombing down there? At any rate, knowing that potatoes and tomatoes are members of the nightshade family I wondered if they might pose a danger to any fish you might have in your tank. I did a quick search and found a site that has "Potato Eyes and new shoots" on a list of plants toxic to pond fish. While it might not ever be an issue for you, if you notice your fish stressing/dying the potatoes may be to blame. Which would make a less than optimal Phase Three.
Edit: Doh. Those look like sweet potatoes, if so likely no worries.

Phase Two: Stick them in fish tank water
Phase Three: ?
Phase Four: Profit
This growth is after a week in the tank grow bed. Planning on transplanting them into a stack of milk crates over the weekend. Taters all year is the goal.

You may want to cover the glass on the fish tank if it isnt already. Roots dont like light. looks awesome so far though!

It’s an enclosed plastic tray filled with gravel, so no exposed roots. The water from the pump flows through it and drains into the tank.
