Interesting question. If they want to show consistency in how they implement their policies they have to protect everybody everywhere. I don't think consistency is in their nature though. They are masters of flipflops, it appears.

I have a theory about SRS that I can't prove but I think it is run by admins. I think they wanted to deal with the unprofitable subs so they decided to be privateers. My guess is with the new changes to policy SRS will go quiet if I am correct in assuming that it was an admin operation. If not, SRS might come to voat. They might come here anyway to troll and plant false flag stuff too in order to make voat look really bad or even get them into trouble for competing against reddit. I hope it blows up in their face if they try it.

A load of crap. This is Reddit's manipulative end game. We've been scammed and sorry but they've insulted me much much more with this whole PR "he said she said", "good guys bad guys", "trolls and freedom of speech" bullshit game. They all give me the creeps. They've proven themselves to be manipulative. They can keep their reddit and all the people they're fooling into thinking "all we want is to keep you safe" bullshit. all they want is to prove you're gullible and susceptible to their cheap marketing ploys and sell you out. C'mon people!!! I might not agree with everything you say but I'm not going to stop you from saying it....I am smart enough to simply ignore you.
oh and the comment that only trolls are leaving? nope. I'm not a troll, just a typical social media user...it's me you tried to keep on board and failed.

Jesus, that entire thread of comments was absolutley asinine. But it's an excellent example of the quality of the community that reddit wants to cater too.
I don't want a safe space. I want a challenging space that pushes me to new heights and gives me opportunities to learn and grow and confront new and alien ideas.
