An alt-right Christian fundamentalist is something of a contradiction in terms.
It's as if shitlibs just toss all of their ignorant stereotypes together in one box for caricature purposes. Reminds me of this Bad Religion video:

I was thinking more Vox Day or Brad Griffin. Christian Identity as Christian fundamentalism is pretty shaky. Not even sure they're really alt-right.

It is ironic that the Punisher of all Marvel heroes becomes a vehicle of leftist moralizing. He was originally a villain of the week for The Amazing Spider-Man meant to cause revulsion as a misguided vigilante, then ascended to hero status by popular demand as the white nerd readers making up the bulk of Marvel fans in the 1970s rallied for and identified with him. (Not dissimilar to Rorschach in Watchmen in the 1980s, who was intended by Alan Moore to be a strawman of a right-wing pseudo-fascist objectivist vigilante, only to have his audience rally for Rorschach and his uncompromising crusade.)
After Big Comic has failed two times to convince their core audience that their strawman right-wing bad guy is the bad guy, third time sure will be the charm.

In the process of portraying someone as a alt-right Christian fundamentalist one is trying to frame and paint a picture of alt-right as bad so when the great harrying and social unfolding occurs the alt-right is seen in a negative light.
