I'd have refused to sign it. What a wimp.

Maine has free healthcare and TONS of migrants and muslims. Maine will eventually fail like every border state. The muslims will let the migrants take care of the libtards then the muslims will take care of the "non-believers"

If I were the Democratic candidate, I would get that certificate framed. It shows he won the race fair-and-square, despite the governor being a whiny little bitch about it.

The republican was the most downvoted. This is how we get a libertarian party to win. I ran condorset polls (a different kind of ranked election) that put the libertarian candidate in the lead for 2016.

Ranked voting should be the future. Not using it allows party establishment to run their pick and be guaranteed a 50% chance of winning no matter who they pick. It enables corruption.

If you change the mode of elections for the better you are still going to loose some elections. You always will. Don't shit on an improvement because by chance you happen to have lost the first one.

So, one man, one vote.

No longer applies.

This is not an improvement.

He had the authority to arrest and execute these people; he didn’t.

Oh, what provision of Maine law gives the governor the authority to arrest and execute a candidate for winning a congressional race?

i'm thinking about moving to maine so i've been paying attention to politics up there and one thing i noticed, and in fact maine is known for, is the fact that the governor's political party frequently switches when a new one is elected. i think this has happened every time since the 50's.

i also note that gov. lepage is kind of nutty and has been in power long enough for his nuttiness to turn independents and centrists off. he also has a contentious relationship with the legislature including his own republican party. now i'm not saying he's a bad governor because i frankly don't have to time to keep track of maine's politics that closely, but i am saying it's certainly possible for him to lose an honest election.

i also think there's a disturbing trend going on where anytime an election is lost it is blamed on election fraud. of course shillary did it, but a lot of republicans are doing it too. now in no way am i saying there isn't any fraud going on, in fact i'm sure it's happening, but the fact that it's being used as a standard complaint is pretty worrying to me and makes actual cases of electoral fraud easier to ignore.

The size of the fucking shnoz on the guy in the video saying "It actually is fair"

This sort of shit eliminates exit polling as a way to determine election fraud.
